Vintage inspired wedding at Roma Street Park

A Vintage inspired wedding at Roma Street Park Sunset Glade

We can’t get enough of these two lovebirds and their subtle tropical vintage wedding style. To compliment their style, we created a fresh floral aisle with brightly coloured frangipani flowers and added lace detail draping to our wedding arbour.

Bride and Groom: Tanya & Richard

Wedding Date: 7 March

Ceremony Location: Sunset Glade, Roma Street Parkland

Tell us about your vision for your wedding:

We wanted something simple, vintage and to incorporate a hint of the tropics (I grew up in the tropics and we both love tropical places).

Tell us about what With Love – Brisbane Wedding Decorators created for your ceremony:

They listened to what I wanted, set up the ceremony, and even collected extra frangipanis (as well as using the ones I provided) and decorated the ceremony area. Everything was planned over email!!! FANTASTIC!

View the Photographers wedding ceremony slideshow here. The ceremony starts about half way in at at 5.30.

What we loved

We loved hanging out with our nearest and dearest – family and friends.

We had a fairly small wedding (58 guests) which was just a lovely number. Don’t get me wrong, it was a very overwhelming day and the usual stress leading up to a wedding, I think what made it so grand was after the reception, our closets friends all went out in the city afterwards and recapped the night and ended it with such fun!

Describe your experience with the With Love – Brisbane Wedding Decorators team:

Incredibly easy to work with. It was amazing how everything was planned over email, so during the lead up to our wedding this made for a stress-free ceremony decor planning experience.

The itemised quote was great and allowed me to add and take away bits of the set up to personalise the decor and setting to our wedding. And the fact that Cara even walked around the gardens and collected fallen frangipani’s to add to our ceremony aisle was just amazing and shows how much she cared about creating a stunning setting.

Tell us about any of your wedding suppliers that you were particularly impressed with and why:

Angeline Sees Photography – Great at capturing real, un-posed, natural photos! A real eye for capturing emotion.

Get a Photobooth – Hamish was the boother and he was very accommodating with times for set up etc. It was such a hit at the reception!

Florist: Lilac Green Flowers – I was blown away with the flowers we received. They were more then I ever imagined. She really enjoys her work and you can tell that through her art.
