Pictured here are proposals we have setup at some of our fav proposal locations.
A Peachy Lakeside Proposal
We are thrilled to be Brisbane’s proposal styling specialists for proposals in Brisbane’s beautiful parks and gardens and we were so happy to be asked to create this peach and pink floral decorated setting for this sweet couple who traveled from overseas for this magical moment.
We created a romantic rose petal aisle lined with fresh floral bouquets in sweet shades of peaches and pinks lining the aisle on shepherd hooks, leading to a sweetheart table with a sparkling rose gold tablecloth and ice filled wine cooler with a chilled bottle of MOET ready for the celebrations.
The table was decorated with a gorgeous bouquet, which was the couples to keep and take with them.
We are so thankful that the sweet couple decided to book one of our proposal photographers to capture the magical moment. Our proposal Photographers capture the moment discreetly at first, then introduce themselves before capturing some lovely shots of the couple together.
Oh, in case you were wondering – SHE SAID YES!
Congratulations to the newly engaged couple. May the future bring you ever happiness and thank you for choosing the With Love team to style your proposal.
Romantic Red Floral Proposal
With a brief for a romantically styled proposal with red fresh floral arrangements, we combined our luxurious setup with rose gold styling for the ultimate luxe setting.
When they arrived at this stunning setting his gorgeous girl was absolutely blown away and couldn’t believe he had been so thoughtful to organise such a stunning setting for their special moment.
He got down on one knee and told her all the reasons he loves her and why he wants to spend the rest of his life with her, before popping the question. Needless to say she said YES!
Garden Backdrop Proposal
There is so much to love about this garden backdrop proposal in a shaded undercover area surrounded by lush greenery.
These two love birds reunited after our ‘groom to be’ returned from working overseas. He planned every detail of this very special proposal via email while overseas. We especially love the thoughtfully ordered engraved champagne glasses with the couples names and their engagement date.
These two lovebirds are absolutely smitten with each other, and it was such a pleasure to create the setting for their heartfelt proposal, all discreetly captured paparazzi style by one of our proposal photographers.
Our proposal photography includes an optional mini engagement session, perfect for capturing the memories and for you to announce your engagement.
Scavenger Hunt Proposal
It was such an honour to create the beautiful setting for this super sweet couples Brisbane proposal on a sunny Brisbane afternoon.
Jeffrey knew he wanted to make the proposal extra special for his gorgeous girl, so he planned a little scavenger hunt style game which led to this stunning moment with him popping the question and without hesitation she said “YES!”
Jeffrey began the special proposal by leaving a message for her, surrounded by fresh rose petals in the shape of hearts with a little puzzle at home for her to solve. After which she received her next clue and was instructed that she would be picked up at a set time. She was also instructed not to make any contact with him which added to her inquisitiveness!
Expecting Jeffrey to be at her door ready to collect her, his sweet girl was very surprised to find a stretch limo waiting outside ready to escort her. She was given a glass of French champagne in the limo and began her trip to an unknown location.
Jeffrey picked this special garden location as it’s a place they have often visited together on dates, sharing many happy memories of walks and picnics here.
On arrival, she was presented with her final clue, directing her where to meet him.
She curiously made her way through the gardens to the jetty where Jeffrey was slightly nervously waiting. She looked amazed as she made her way down the walkway sprinkled with fresh rose petals and lined with fresh flowers and peonies on shepherd hooks.
As she made her way into his arms, he told her how he feels and why he is so in love with her then he dropped to one knee and popped the question! As he placed the most beautiful sparkling ring on her finger, our photographer successfully captured it all without being spotted.
After the proposal took place the celebrations commenced. We created an opulent setting with luxe clear ghost chairs and a sparkling gold tablecloth surrounded by an abundance of fresh flowers. We added gold charger plates for the cute little cupcakes that Jeffrey brought along. They cracked open the Moet champagne and couldn’t stop smiling as they took in the beauty and happiness of the moment they got engaged.
After they had enjoyed some time alone to soak it all on, the photographer added a mini engagement photo shoot and captured some gorgeous shots of all the pretty little details and the freshly engaged couple.
Rain forest Proposal
If you love the idea of surprising your loved one with a private and romantic rain forest proposal, this gorgeous serene and somewhat secret spot could be the perfect location for you to pop the question.
Romantic Brisbane sunset proposal
Our 4 post arbour creates an ultra-luxurious proposal setting at parks and gardens.
For this proposal setting we created an aisle of fresh flower petals, leading to a gorgeous setting for him to get down on one knee and pop the special question.
For this sunset proposal, we created a beautiful light filled elegant space with an abundance of fresh pink roses and soft pink carnations, lining the aisle of fresh rose petals to lead them to their very special moment.
One of our proposal photographers was on hand to discreetly capture the moment paparazzi style! The couple celebrated their engagement over champagne and a cheese and fruit platter.
Ellen tells us about the most memorable evening of her surprise proposal.
“The night of the proposal was our 6 year anniversary from the day Armand asked me to be his girlfriend. Having been together this long, I was simply just expecting that we would head out for a nice dinner.
But little did I know I was in for such an amazing surprise! We arrived at Brisbane’s New Farm Park as the sun was beginning to set and I instantly saw this beautiful rotunda all lit up and I said to Armand there must be a wedding going on.
Armand was directing me closer to it and I’m telling him we can’t go near it as it’s someone’s wedding. Next minute he is leading me up the stairs and my eyes filled up as I saw the most beautiful setting of flowers and candles and I realised he was about to ask me to marry him.
It was the best surprise and he did it so incredibly well! He walked me down an aisle of fresh rose petals lined with flickering candles and pink roses, then he dropped to one knee and popped the question!
Whilst trying to take it all in and so gob smacked by the beautiful ring he got me, we relaxed with sparkling wine and nibbled on a cheese and fruit platter.
It wasn’t until after he had popped the question I noticed he had even arranged for a photographer to be there who captured it all!
After we had spent time at the rotunda we headed off to a beautiful restaurant by the water.
I couldn’t have asked for a better proposal from the man I love. The set up for the proposal was absolutely amazing, he did an awesome job and we are both so grateful for everything that the With love Team did, to make it such a magical moment for us.”
After the couple had time to take it all in, our photographer did a mini engagement style shoot with them.
Planning Amazing Proposals and styling by With Love Proposals.
Pictured here are some of the luxurious styled proposal picnic settings we’ve created in Brisbane’s iconic Rotunda’s (council booking of rotundas is required).
Styled picnic proposal
These iconic rotundas can be booked through the council for your exclusive use.
When a ‘fiancé to be’ from out of town contacted us asking for ideas and assistance with planning an amazing proposal for his lucky lady and he knew he wanted to include a river gondola ride within the day, we knew with the surrounding water views and close proximity to the gondola terminal, this would be the perfect spot to pop the question.
We dressed the entrance of the rotunda with satin and chiffon draping in a palette of taupe and peach. Our client booked our hidden paparazzi style photographer to discreetly capture all the special moments.
We love boxed flowers, because not only are they presented beautifully, and feel like a gift and a bouquet in one, but they are also practical as a vase isn’t required.
We carefully selected these boxed flowers to compliment the peachy tones of our Newstead Rotunda proposal setting.
Our client arranged for her favourite white wine to be chilled on ice accompanied by our stemless wine glasses on marble coasters.
Beautifully fragrant fresh rose petals were scattered at the entrance and around the table setting to add to the romance of the proposal setting. Music played as they arrived to further add to the romance of the setting. Our glamorous clear ghost chairs added to the luxurious vibe and completed the table setting perfectly.
What a beautiful surprise this stroll in the park turned out to be!
Following the proposal our proposal photographer captured close ups of the ring, before taking the freshly engaged couple around the park for photos. Afterwards they made their way to the boat terminal for a romantic sunset gondola ride down the Brisbane River. What a perfect way to conclude such a magical proposal.
Our luxurious four poster arbour setup looked so stunning on the Brisbane River.
Park Proposals
Tucked away at a quiet hidden gem Brisbane park, this proposal took place between 2 rows of jacaranda trees at this picturesque spot. The jacaranda trees come into bloom with purple flowers, usually between September and October every year.
This gent opted for a glamorous setting with an abundance of gorgeous fresh yellow flowers – her favourite colour!
