We can’t get enough of this gorgeous New Farm wedding with two grooms beneath the amazing Fig Tree at the Ferry view ceremony lawn.
Our luxe white circular wedding arbour looked amazing against the backdrop of the beautiful grand old fig tree, and our dried floral arrangement in natural tones of ivory and neutrals fitted perfectly with this ceremony location.
5 STAR REVIEW
“My now husband and I used With Love – Brisbane Wedding Decorators for our wedding in New Farm Park.
Cara and her team were amazing. We had the package with luxe circular arbour, chairs and aisle and added bar tables with stools and additional tables for a drinks bar and for the cake.
Everything was amazing and I was so comforted by the fact that Cara and her team are really experienced in setting up in so many beautiful locations. You don’t have to worry – they just know what they are doing. These photos really sums up how good they are at placing things perfectly. Use them – you won’t be sorry! We are so happy with our experience.” Drew + Kash
The two dashing grooms Drew and Kash knew exactly how to step away from the usual wedding traditions to make their day thoroughly enjoyable for both them and all their guests.
Here’s how they did their day their way:
1. They arrived at the ceremony location together, an hour before their guests arrived. This gave them an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the area and setting, drop a few things off but most importantly, it meant they were able to have their pre-wedding location photos around New Farm Park, before the ceremony took place. Benefits of having location photos before the ceremony include:
- Eases any nerves having that time together.
- You are feeling at your freshest having just arrived.
- It means your ceremony can start at a later time. Being cooler in the late afternoon this works particularly well for weddings in the summer months.
- Being a little later in the afternoon usually means better light for your ceremony photos.
- The biggest bonus being it means you can stay and celebrate with your guests after the ceremony, instead of being separated from them and heading off to do photos.
2. After their ceremony and they stayed and celebrated cocktail hour (or two) with their guests before all taking a short stroll together to their nearby reception.
Their post ceremony cocktail hour celebrations included:
- Having our bar table and stool cocktail hour furniture package and drinks tables with ice filled cooler tins for their own drinks to be served chilled from.
- They opted to do their cutting of the cake and speeches during this time, so their reception celebrations were free of formalities.
Following the relaxed cocktail hour celebrations, the happy couple joined their guests and headed to the nearby Bar Alto at the Brisbane Powerhouse for their relaxed and enjoyable cocktail style wedding reception.
